Building upon our free introductory course Discover your inner compass,

Calibrate your inner compass will take you on a journey of self-exploration.

The course will also introduce you to a number of tools you can apply

whenever life feels out of sorts for you.


Upon completion of Calibrate your inner compass, you will have:

a better understanding of yourself and why things are the way they are in your life, and

a powerful vision that will guide you as you take the next step on your journey

to a more intentional and happy life.

What to expect

Brought to you in engaging animation video format, the course comprises five lessons and four exercises. There will also be a brief test at the end to confirm your understanding.


Watching the lessons and completing the test takes about 30 minutes in total.

Exercise 1 is a short daily exercise over a period of (at least) two weeks.

For exercises 2 to 4, you need to set aside about 30 minutes each.


It’s important that you take as much time as you need.

Hi there, we are Paul and Sandra, the Gen X couple behind Minimalist Journeys.

Realising that our comfortable, middle-class life in Sydney, Australia wasn’t really what we wanted, we embarked on a life-changing journey: from assessing our values and discovering minimalism to a nomadic life full of eye-opening and humbling experiences.

Adopting a values-based lifestyle has changed our lives for the better, and we are now focused on helping others achieve the same.

On our website and in our online courses, we talk about our and other peoples' journeys to values-based living, and provide practical advice and simple, tested tools that help our audience live more intentionally, sustainably and happier - whatever their life circumstances.

Why should I care about personal values?

Being aware of your core values is vitally important. They help you understand who you are and guide you in the direction you want to go in life. When you are aware of what’s important to you, life doesn’t just happen to you - YOU are in control.

What happens after I sign up? 

Once you signed up, you will have access to the lessons, exercises and test; and can complete them in your own time. You will also have access to the workbook that comes with the course. It's a great reference, and you'll need it to complete the exercises and the test.

I have attended your introductory course Discover Your Inner Compass. Why should I do this course?

First of all: thank you for completing Discover Your Inner Compass. We hope you've learned how to bring greater awareness to your personal values, and you’ve identified what your most important values are.

Calibrate Your Inner Compass is building upon our introductory course. It will help you

  • Better understand your core values and how they play out in your life,
  • Be equipped with the tools you need to examine your life holistically, and
  • Create a powerful vision that will guide you on your journey to the life you love.

How long will the course take to complete?

Once enrolled, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like and for as long as we offer the course.

When does the course start and finish?

It is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish.

Why is the course offered at a discount?

We are about to offer Calibrate Your Inner Compass for the very first time. As such, we'll be asking our first round of students for feedback to make the course even better in future. So, in return for the feedback and for a limited time only, we're offering the course at a discount. Students have lifetime access to the course, so once enrolled will be able to take advantage of any changes we may make based on the collective feedback.

What if I am unhappy with the course?

We want our courses to meet the needs of our students. If for any reason you are not happy with the course please get in touch with us and we'll work something out.

Will the instructors be available if I get stuck?

Our priority is for you to succeed, so when you have specific questions about understanding and applying what you're learning, we'll absolutely do our best to help. 

But to keep expectations clear, enrolling in our course doesn't turn the instructors into your private 24/7 coaches. If you email us for help, we ask that you're respectful of our time and more importantly, that you're actually doing the work and not just asking questions to avoid the work.

For students who are further along, additional coaching options will be made available in future.
